One place, because it reads the others
The class trip letter, the fixture list, the dentist confirmation, the renewal notice. They arrive in your inbox and stop there. Connect your Microsoft mailbox (Hotmail, Outlook, or a work or school account) and the assistant reads it for the events, tasks and reminders that belong in the family’s app, and puts each one in front of you to confirm. Connect your Microsoft, iCloud or on-device calendars and their dates sit beside the family’s own. Everything ends up in one place, which is the whole idea.

A briefing, not a notification
Three or four sentences at seven in the morning and again at eight at night: who is where, what is for dinner, and the one thing coming up that you would otherwise miss. Written from your household’s own week, with anything waiting in your email folded in.

“Are we free Saturday afternoon?” “When is the MOT?” “What did we have for dinner last week?” It answers from what the household has put in (calendar, lists, meals and recipes, chores, cars, renewals and birthdays) and nothing else. Ask what to cook and it suggests something for a bit of variety, puts it on the plan, and builds the shopping list from the week.

Built to run the house, and nothing else
Meadow is Kinmeadow’s assistant, and the guardrails are built in. It will not discuss health, give advice on the law, or go near sensitive topics. It does not read a mailbox or calendar you have not connected, and it does not make things up: if it cannot find a date, it says so. Your questions go to our AI provider under a data processing agreement and the model is not trained on them. Your home address never leaves the app.

About Meadow
Does the assistant read my whole inbox?
Only if you connect one, and only as far back as you choose when you connect it. The connection is read-only, you pick what it looks for, and everything it finds is a suggestion until you confirm it. Microsoft mailboxes (Hotmail, Outlook, and work or school accounts) are supported.
What does it put on the calendar?
Nothing on its own. When it finds a date in your mail (a school trip, an appointment, a fixture, a renewal) it shows you the event it would make, with the email it came from, and you tap Add or Skip. Add it and it lands on the family calendar like anything you typed in yourself.
When does the briefing arrive?
Seven in the morning and eight at night, as a notification you can read in a few seconds. The morning one is the day ahead; the evening one is tomorrow, and anything still waiting for you.
What can I ask it?
Anything about the household: what is on this weekend, when the MOT is due, what you cooked last week, whose birthday is next, what to make for dinner. It answers from what the family has put in the app and nothing else, so it is never guessing.
Will it answer my children?
Yes, in its own way. A child gets a version that answers only from what is in the app, and it will not help with homework or wander off into general knowledge. Questions about health or the law are turned down for everyone, and a child who seems to be in distress is pointed to someone who can help, never to the model.
How does it know when I need to set off?
From where you set off and how you travel. Put your home address on your own profile, choose car, walking, bike or public transport, and it works out when to leave for anything on the calendar with a place attached. Your address stays on your profile, private even from the rest of the house.
Is my family’s data used to train a model?
No. What you ask, and the household context needed to answer it, goes to our AI provider under a data processing agreement that does not allow training on it. The conversation is not stored by us at all.
Is the assistant part of Basic?
The assistant, the briefing and reading your mailbox and calendars are part of Pro. Basic has the calendar, lists, chores and the family tree.
