Connect your mailbox and it reads it for the dates that belong on the family calendar (trips, appointments, fixtures, renewals) and puts each one in front of you to confirm.

Who can see it
Your household, and within it only the people each thing was shared with. Chat is end-to-end encrypted, so not even we can read it. Everything else is encrypted in transit and at rest, and never reachable by a link.
No ads, anywhere
Not on the paid tier and not on the free one. No ads are shown to anybody in your household, and none to children. There are no advertising libraries in the app.
Children in the household
No ads, no profiling, no contact from outside the family, and an assistant that answers a child only from what is in the app. What we hold, in English.
Yours to keep, or to delete
Close your account from Settings and everything of yours goes with it, at once. Stopping a subscription never locks you out of what you put in.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers. The subscription is how the app is paid for, so it never has to be paid for any other way.

Questions
Things families ask us.
Does it work on both iPhone and Android?
Yes. Kinmeadow is one app on both, and a household can mix the two freely. Everything syncs between them.
Can grandparents join without downloading anything?
For a single event, yes: send a guest link and they can see it and RSVP from a browser, with no app and no account. To take part properly they need the app, either as members of your household, or, on Pro, with a Kinmeadow of their own that you connect to yours, so the two houses share chat, events, photos, the tree and wishlists while each keeps its own files and plans.
What happens to my data if I stop paying?
Nothing is deleted. Pro runs to the end of the period you have paid for, then your household drops to Basic and keeps everything already there. We do not hold your documents hostage to a subscription.
Is there a web version?
Yes. Sign in at webapp.kinmeadow.com and the same household is there in a browser, for the laptop at work or the tablet in the kitchen. Chat stays on the phone, where the keys that protect it live.
Does it work with the calendar I already use?
Yes. Connect a Microsoft calendar (Hotmail, Outlook, or a work or school account), an iCloud calendar, or the calendar already on your phone, and its dates are shown beside the family’s own, read-only and kept up to date automatically. You choose which calendars appear, and each is private to you until you share it.
Are there ads?
No. Not on Pro, and not on Basic either. There are no ads anywhere in Kinmeadow, and none shown to children. The subscription is how the app is paid for, and that is the whole reason there is one.
What does Basic include?
The shared calendar with guest links and each child’s school term dates, lists and to-dos, chores and rewards, people and the family tree, and the calendar already on your phone, for up to four people, with no ads and no time limit. Pro is everything else: encrypted chat, meals and recipes, cars and records and files, your mailbox and calendars read in, the assistant and the briefing, photos, connecting to other households, and as many people as the family has. Who can see our data?
Your household, and within it only the people each thing was shared with. Chat is end-to-end encrypted, so not even we can read it. Everything is encrypted, we do not sell it to anyone, and there are no advertising libraries in the app. Questions to the assistant are answered by our AI provider under an agreement that does not allow training on them, and are not kept. There is a plain-English page about exactly what we hold about children.
